New York City “Dress Codes: The Third ICP Triennial of Photography and Video” at the International Center of Photography (October 2–January 17, 2010). The latest installment of this global survey of new photography and video focuses on the language of fashion, and surprise: some 70 percent of the works are by women, from Cindy Sherman’s portraits of aspiring fashionistas to Kimsooja’s video installation on Mumbai’s brilliantly colored laundry lines.
