British conceptual artist Tracey Emin took her passion for travel and sent it packing. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Longchamp's classic Le Pliage bag, Emin applied her avant-garde sensibility to a three-piece collection. Only 200 of the "International Woman" suitcases (www.longchamp.com; 877/566-4242; $4,000) were made, each embroidered with the name of a hotel, city, or street where the artist has fallen in love. "I thought of how I always travel alone now and imagined how fantastic it would be to have someone meet me at the other end," she explains. Here, Emin reveals a few of her favorite places.
WATER BABY "Nice pools are my priority. Hôtel Costes in Paris [239 Rue St.-Hónoré; 33-1/42-44-50-00; doubles from $616] has a brilliant one underground."
BEST VIEW "In Sydney, I like Sean's Panorama [270 Campbell Parade; 61-2/9365-4924; dinner for two $50], a surfer's restaurant in north Bondi."
HOT HANGOUT "If I want to dance, I go to London's Sketch [9 Conduit St.; 44-870/777-4488]. My night usually ends up on the tables at my local pub, the Golden Heart [110 Commercial St.; 44-207/247-2158]."
