TaylorMade at Olympia Fields
TaylorMade Performance Labs has opened a custom-fitting center at prestigious Olympia Fields Country Club outside Chicago. One of only four such facilities in the United States, it’s open to members and nonmembers alike. Not only can you have your swing evaluated for a new set of clubs, you can also play either of Olympia Fields’ two courses: the North, which hosted the 2003 U.S. Open, or the newly restored South. The green fee for each is $300; the two-and-a-half-hour fitting costs $400. Call 708-679-6700 or visit tmplabs.com.
Direct Flights to South Africa

The flights depart JFK International at 3:55 p.m. four days a week and arrive in South Africa’s so-called Mother City at the same time the following day. The trip takes eighteen hours, including a refueling stop in Dakar, Senegal. The slightly longer return flights leave Cape Town at 6 p.m. and arrive in New York at 6:30 the next morning. Round-trip fares start at $4,778. Call 800-241-4141 or visit delta.com.
