More often than not, airport food is nothing to get excited about (unless you're lucky enough to run into one of these amazing restaurants). London's Gatwick Airport is trying to overcome that reputation with a new series of food focused on integrating "happy hormones." As slightly unsettling as that sounds, what it really comes down to is airport restaurants using more body- and brain-friendly ingredients in their offerings. For example, one on-site restaurant has introduced a salmon citrus salad in an attempt to improve brain function. (Side note: the fatty acid in salmon is well known for its healthy brain qualities.) 

The airport brought on nutritionist Jo Travers to devise various menu items that will be offered at Gatwick for a month-long trial. Make sure to fit in a taste test if you find yourself passing through Gatwick in the next couple of weeks (and report back!).
