Immersion suites—the ultimate amenity for well-being—are popping up at resorts across the globe. At the Guanahani (590/590-276-660; www.leguanahani.com; doubles from $820) on St. Bart's, the Wellness Suite comes with an ocean-view terrace and after-hours access to the adjacent Clarins spa pool. ● In the three Rejuvenating Spa Suites at Los Cabos, Mexico's Las Ventanas (888/767-3966; www.lasventanas.com; doubles from $2,300), your own spa butler will lead yoga sessions and whip up healthy elixirs. ● The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok (800/633-7318; bangkok.grand.hyatt.com; doubles from $576) has six spa cottages— with Thai-massage beds and outdoor showers—designed by Tony Chi; they sit above the hotel in a rooftop garden. ● The Renewal Suite in the Westin Times Square (800/937-8461; www.westin.com; doubles from $1,500) helps soothe frazzled senses with a chromatherapy infinity tub and decompression chamber. No need to eat or drink outside your room: the mini-bar is stocked with organic wines and vitamin-infused gummy bears.

Westin New York at Times Square

The Westin New York at Times Square is something of a beacon of calm and respite in one of the world's most bustling landscapes, complete with a beam of light soaring from the atrium to the top of the 45 story building. Dashes of copper and blue accentuate the glass building, while inside, the 863 rooms provide a peaceful reprieve. Rooms are painted with light colors and decorated with abstract art of a muted palette. The real draw of the Westin, though, is inarguably its location; just blocks from the hotel are 40 Broadway theatres, 5th Avenue shopping, Grand Central Station and, of course, Times Square.

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

Located on Rajdamri Road, the Grand Hyatt Erawan overlooks the city’s famous Erawan Shrine and is convenient to shopping at Siam Paragon and a BTS Skytrain station. The atrium area is enclosed by a glass ceiling and is decorated with pieces from the hotel’s modern art collection. The property houses 380 guest rooms and suites, each with residential furnishings and warm, neutral linens; plus, many have large windows offering views of the city. On-site Spasso serves Italian fare, and traditional Thai cuisine is available at Erawan Tea Room. The i.sawan spa houses nine treatment rooms, a nail bar, and a fitness center.
