T+L Reports: Earth Angel

When Robert Smithson died at 35, he was already a pioneer among land artists, due to his revolutionary ideas about entropy and the relentlessness of nature. The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (www.moca.org) is mounting the first in-depth American retrospective of his work. September 12-December 13.
