In the seaside village of Perros-Guirec, L'Agapa Hotel & Spa clings—like the agapanthus flower—to the rocks of the remote Granit Rose coast. The briny Atlantic permeates this 50-room resort, from the salt-and-algae body scrub in the spa to the tangy pousse en claire oysters at Le Belouga restaurant. Chef Franck Marchesi knows his bouillabaisse; a native of Corsica, he apprenticed with Michel Rostang at the maestro's Paris restaurant. Softly lit black-and-white interiors complement the Art Deco–era architecture, but the windows framing the ocean are the real draw. For the best views, stay in La Désirade, an adjacent 10-room villa where sea mist drifts along balconies. L'Agapa Hotel & Spa, 12 Rue des Bons-Enfants, Perros-Guirec; 33-2/96-49-01-10; www.lagapa.com; doubles from $153. —shane mitchell
