T+L Tip: There are five kinds of GO rooms. Choose classic GO Metropolitan for views of the Strip from the 27th and 28th floors.
Hotel: The Venetian
Suite: Luxury Suite.
Stats: One bedroom; 650 square feet; from $169.
Amenities: Anichini Egyptian cotton linens; sleeper sofa for guests; fresh-cut flowers.
T+L Tip: Bypass the unrenovated Venezia tower, which opened in 2003, for the redone suites in the main tower.
Hotel: MGM Grand
Suite: The Signature at MGM Grand.
Stats: One bedroom; 950 square feet; from $310.
Amenities: Private entrance; full kitchen with Cuisinart, Miele, and Sub-Zero appliances; Egyptian cotton Anichini linens; HDTV.
T+L Tip: Opt for a one- bedroom suite over a junior suite; for around $110 more, you’ll get nearly twice the square footage.
Hotel: Palms casino resort
Suite: Salon suite in the Fantasy Tower.
Stats: One bedroom; 800 square feet; from $500, weeknights.
Amenities: Bose sound system; 42-inch plasma TV; 23-inch LCD in the bathroom; Jacuzzi.
T+L Tip: Ask for rooms 16202 or 17202; they offer the best views of the Strip.

T+L Tip: Suites have either pool or Strip views. Choose with care. On Sundays, the raucous Rehab pool party may not be what the doctor ordered.
