Waikiki’s recently refurbished 635-room hotel celebrates the holidays island-style with free guest workshops on creating Hawaiian ornaments and holiday cards, plus an employee gingerbread-house-making contest for spectators on December 17 and festive performances by students of local hula school Ka Hale I o Kahala on December 20. Kids can dine with Santa and have their photos taken with him December 18 and 19.
