As this stylish Black Sea resort town prepares for the 2014 Winter Olympics, a new kind of sport has emerged: UFO hunting. Witnesses have reported hundreds of sightings; in one instance, a man captured on video an object whooshing over the Russian Riviera city at a high rate of speed and then disappearing before hitting the water. Some believe nearby Bytkha Mountain is an extraterrestrial base, serving as a gateway between worlds.

Recent Reported Sighting: There are no recent reports, but in December 2009, a pyramid-shaped UFO was seen and filmed over the Kremlin in Moscow, one of the biggest sightings—in Russia or anywhere—in recent years.
