Thailand is giving out keys to the kingdom. The Thai government recently inaugurated Thailand Elite, a travelers' club with a $25,000 membership fee, open to frequent visitors. Members are granted the privilege of buying property in the country; exemption from entry and exit visas; multi-lingual guides; admission to restricted national sites, such as the king's palace; and access to exclusive golf courses, sporting events, and spas (www.thailandelite.com).
