Yet again, the frontier look didn’t appeal to Travel + Leisure voters: the Alaska city held onto its last-place position from 2011, and the locals again took last place for their Gore-Tex-laden style. The Alaskans still mean well, though: they ranked in the top 20 for being both affable and a little offbeat.
