The election campaigns may be taking a toll: this year, our nation’s capital fell to last place in the friendly locals category, and the city hasn’t budged from its bottom five showing on good looks. Voters preferred to focus on the city’s inanimate features, giving D.C. high marks for its architecture and mass transit.
