Perhaps taking some cues from the White House Garden, restaurants in our nation’s capital are touting their fresh ingredients. At the Blue Duck Tavern (site of a recent presidential date night), the menu details which area farm produced your braised rabbit or heirloom tomatoes. While voters also embraced the veritable UN of ethnic dining options, one of the hottest tables in town is at the pop-up America Eats Tavern, a cooperative effort between chef José Andrés and the National Archives exhibit, “What’s Cooking, Uncle Sam?”
