If you were flying on Sunday night and thought you had it rough, there are at least two passengers who had a much worse flight than you. According to police reports, a Southwest flight crew had to make an impromptu landing thirty minutes after leaving the gate to deal with two fighting passengers (no, they weren't flying together). Witnesses shared that one passenger began choking another flyer after an argument over a reclined airplane seat escalated.

Police were waiting for the plane when it arrived back at the gate, shortly after its 10:25pm departure time. While a passenger was taken in for questioning, no one has currently been arrested. The flight—which was heading to San Francisco from Los Angeles—finally took off around midnight on Monday night and delivered its passengers to their destination five hours past due.
