A Reel Ritz-Carlton Venture

It seems like practically everyone in Hollywood, from David Geffen to Tori Spelling, is opening a hotel these days. Now Ritz-Carlton wants in on the movie business. The hotel group is releasing three short films online to attract younger, tech-savvy guests. The Delay, for instance, a slick Lost in Translation–style production, follows one woman’s tumultuous travel day, and wraps with an unexpected surprise (we won’t spoil the ending, but it involves a famous musician). All three videos (funded by American Express, Travel + Leisure’s parent company, and directed by Shyam Madiraju) are under 10 minutes and can be found at RitzCarltonFilms.com or on YouTube.
