The travel world enjoys emotional support animals of all kinds, but this may be the first emotional support duck we've ever spotted. Daniel the Duck, sporting red shoes and a Captain America diaper, recently won the hearts of passengers on a flight from Charlotte to Asheville.
One passenger, author Mark Essig, captured the experience on Twitter and shared just how great of a flyer Daniel was.

Buzzfeed, in turn, shared a bit of background on Daniel: Fitzergerald bought the four-year-old duck at a yard sale. In an interview with the Asheville Citizen-Times, Fitzgerald shared that she suffers from PTSD and Daniel's gently quacking helps keep her calm during flights.
