Over-the-Top Request: A client who had been a World War II infantry soldier had always wanted to fly a military jet, but couldn't because of strict eyesight requirements. I planned a South African safari adventure with an afternoon "fighter jet" experience so he was able to fly a British Strikemaster jet with an Air Force pilot who took him through dogfights, rocket attacks, and bombing raids (he was actually in command of the aircraft at times). He had to learn how to properly use the fighter's ejector seat and the antigravity straps, since they repeatedly engaged in inverted evasive maneuvers. His pilot fantasies "have now been properly satisfied—and retired."
