New details have emerged about the two strangers accused of having sex on a Delta Air Lines flight last month.

According to a police report obtained by the Detroit Free Press, the 28-year-old man and 48-year-old woman who had only just met on the flight attempted to hide behind a blanket while having sex.

A passenger was sleeping next to them in Row 26 while the woman, who was highly intoxicated, performed sexual acts on the man.

The nine-page report indicated that, when the plane landed in Detroit, the man involved said the woman had simply “fallen asleep in his lap” and that he had “grabbed her breasts.”

A number of nearby passengers, however, provided witness statements, leading the man and the woman to be taken off the plane in handcuffs.

Both travelers received citations, but were let off without charges (which could have been as severe as a felony). The woman, who was continuing on to Nashville, was not permitted to rebook with Delta.

Travelers should note that joining the Mile High Club (particularly in a seat, in front of and next to other passengers) is not only distasteful but can also lead to legal consequences.
