Comfier seats and more amenities are just a few of the perks.
Delta Air Lines revealed more details about its upscale economy class Delta Premium on Thursday, which is slated to debut in fall 2017.
“Delta Premium is Delta's latest example of paying careful attention to what customers tell us they want and responding with unique products designed to meet their individual needs,” said Tim Mapes, Delta’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, in a statement.
Delta Premium, with fares costing between basic economy and business class, will feature a variety of amenities on a select group of its international flights. Here are some of the most important for travelers.
Better In-flight Entertainment
Premium economy travelers can enjoy complimentary movies, shows and games, as well as noise-canceling headphones. The seats each feature a 13.3-inch, high-resolution screen.
The seats can recline up to seven inches and offer adjustable leg and armrests. With 38 inches of seat pitch and up to 19 inches of width, these seats offer a comfier (if pricier) alternative for long-haul travel.
No one wants to arrive to their destination after a 10-hour flight with no phone battery and no adapter in a foreign country. Delta will offer in-seat ports and storage for large and small devices.
Sky Priority Service
