Minneapolis

Take in the fantastic and eclectic homegrown arts scene

Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association
Minneapolis, MN, United States

The first Thursday of every month, between 5 and 9 p.m., is the time to studio hop in Minneapolis’s Northeast neighborhood. The number of open studios varies month-to-month—most popular times are summers and winter holidays—but the Northrup King Building (1500 Jackson Street NE) and Casket Arts Building and Carriage House (681 17th Avenue NE) are sure bets, with well over 150 artists between the two of them. Sometimes artists provide snacks or wine as you browse the collections of paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, and more.
