Brooklyn
Superfine
Located directly under the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood, this former warehouse and popular site of wedding receptions offers plenty of space to spread out under its 20-foot ceilings, exposed pipes, wood pillars, and brick and plaster walls hung with original artwork. The menu is mostly traditional bar food (usually organic), with a spicy southern influence in dishes like Spanish tuna sandwich, baby back ribs, and a cheese board. Brunch features a live blue grass band and several dishes with chopped green chiles imported from New Mexico. The orange-felt pool table becomes the centerpiece at happy hour.
Insider Tip:
If you call an hour before you plan to arrive, you’ll be much more likely to get a seat, especially during peak hours.
