South Wellfleet General Store

Those who are fans of nostalgia and good deli food should make a stop at this general store on Route 6 near Lecount Hollow Road and the Cape Cod National Seashore. Out front is a Coca-Cola sign with "So. Wellfleet General Store" above the logo. Walk through the door, which may be open to the ocean breeze on nice days, and step onto a well-worn hardwood floor. The shelves are full of foodstuffs and household items, chickens turn on a rotisserie, and The Between the Tides Deli serves sandwiches, coffee, and other food (it's a good stop before a picnic).
