Despite its jukebox, vintage pool table, and plaid carpeting, Seven Grand is not a standard Irish watering hole—the mounted game head trophies actually give it an old lodge vibe. Serving close to 300 selections of premium whiskeys, rare ryes, small-batch bourbons, this downtown bar attracts imbibers who take booze seriously. Although crowds are common (especially when there’s live music), the atmosphere is usually relaxed and civilized. Knowledgeable bartenders will chat about specific whiskeys and their places of origin, as well as serve cocktails like Dagny Tarty, a blend of Ardbeg 10 and Glenlivet 12 with an orange peel.
