During spring training, metro Phoenix is all about baseball, with several small ballparks offering action; but the best little one is this home away from home for the San Francisco Giants. It was rebuilt in 1992 on the site where the 1956 original stood, and while the best seats are downright affordable ($28 each, lower box), the most comfortable spots are on the lawn, for an appealing $8 on weekdays. Spring training runs mid-February through March; games sell out, so buy tickets in advance at www.tickets.com.

Tip: If you’re a true pine-tar enthusiast, catch the Arizona Fall League (the minors) at the stadium in September.
