This lively, sprawling street market is an obligatory stop for anyone in search of cheap and cheerful fashion accessories and gifts. These days many of the leather goods on sale are made in Chinese-owned factories in the nearby Prato area, but the prices are reasonable and the quality is often surprisingly high. Look out for fine-spun silk scarves and brightly colored leather wallets, belts and bags. Sometimes, you can even find something to die for—like a jewel-colored antelope suede shirt. The market doesn't run on Sundays.
