Set in the western suburb of Summer Hill (about five miles from the CBD), this eclectic shelter shop is known to many Sydneysiders because of its owner, Monica Trapaga, a locally famous jazz singer and television host. But the shabby-chic housewares and unusual gifts she stocks command their own attention. Vintage-looking mirrors, ornate chandeliers, and handmade quilts, cushions, and linens share the charmingly cluttered space with fancy bath products, scented candles, and French candies and chocolates.
