Pasanella and Son

When Marco Pasanella purchased this 19th-century sail-making factory in Manhattan’s South Street Seaport, he used the street level space to realize his dream: a Tuscan oasis integrating the best elements of work, play, and family. Together with wife Rebecca, they set up a wine shop like no other—if only for the 1964 Cinquecento Fiat parked inside. Adamant about the culinary couplings of vino culture, food is offered as well, both on the menu or as part of the intimate tasting events (six people only). The goat cheese-stuffed roasted figs are a particular favorite.
