The Odeon

Three years ago, this four-level 1660s house on the Singel canal couldn’t have lured in the Night at the Roxbury guys. Thanks to a 2006 total makeover by the owners of the dance club-cum-youth hotel Arena, in Amsterdam’s southeast, now The Odeon is where real grown-ups come out at night. Dine in the brick-vaulted cellar-level brasserie—reminiscent of the Mercer Kitchen in New York’s SoHo—before moving upstairs to the second-floor Gold Room for a saketini or a Kir Royale, then ascend once again to the third floor to dance until the wee hours.
