For a deeper look at Canadian art, don’t miss the Beaux-Arts museum in the heart of downtown’s Golden Square Mile. There is a small (but impressive) collection of European painting, but it’s the far-North American works that you should see: contemporary Inuit sculpture, early 20th-century landscapes from the Ontario-based Group of Seven, and Serge Lemoyne’s exuberant Dryden—a 7x11-foot painting of the legendary goalie Ken Dryden’s mask, in dripping red, white, and blue.
