Probably the swankiest bar in the city, Hemmesphere, part of the complex that also includes the Establishment Hotel, has killer cocktails and plenty of low-lit lounges for lingering. You should dress to impress—but even in your most fashionable duds you may well be turned away at the door on super-crowded weekend nights. Monday to Wednesday, though, you’ll have a much better chance of getting in—and then you can nurse your honey-and-basil martini, drape yourself over a Moroccan-inspired chaise, and nibble on soft-shell crab while you congratulate yourself for being so cool.
