The business sells wholesale to the city’s finest restaurants, which means everything a discerning chef could want is here: unusual fruits and vegetables like pawpaws, baby Japanese eggplant, peeled eschalots, and wood ear mushrooms; a plethora of fresh and dried herbs; artisanal olive oils and Italian cheeses (pecorino, asiago, mascarpone); and two dozen kinds of handmade pasta.
