Fitzsu
L.A.’s modern-design movement has finally reached the masses, and this SoCal store (besides this original location, there’s a branch in Palm Desert) caters to the converted. The light-filled, streamlined space is chock-full of funky kitchen wares including Mint Vin-Eau porcelain carafes, a wide selection of clocks (check out the space-age time cubes by Philippe Starck), and humorous-but-functional items such as a spaceship-shaped colander designed by Alessi Max le Chinois.
Tip: Visit the nearby Schindler House on Kings Road, a great example of modern architecture from the 1920's, designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
