On the second Thursday each month, downtown galleries and museums that span from the Historic Core to the Fashion District stay open into the night to collectively host a roving, self-guided tour. Executive Director Joe Moller presides over the non-profit event series, which usually includes more than four-dozen galleries that display (and sell) paintings, sculptures, and photography. They also have one-of-a-kind offerings at places like Crewest Gallery, which has sold boxing gloves painted with cartoon woodland creature pugilists, and El Nopal Press, which sells lithographs that deal with Mexican-American border issues.
Insider Tip:
Food trucks are confined to parking lots at 1st & Main streets and 8th & Spring streets.
