Located in Georgetown, Carling Nichols is owned by three friends who share a passion for the Chinese aesthetic. The store sells carefully selected Chinese antiques, including furniture, accessories, and artifacts. Pieces range from the 18th century to the Han Dynasty, with select artifacts dating as far back as the Tang Dynasty. Each year, the store’s owners travel to China, selecting items from Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Carling Nichols seamlessly presents these antiques with contemporary furnishings and actively encourages shoppers to explore and experiment with the Asian aesthetic.
