The kooky sister establishment to bar Plan B, Bily Kun hangs mounted ostrich heads along its 20-foot-high walls by way of decoration. The look is reminiscent of a Czech beer hall (if ostriches were native to the Czech Republic), but the atmosphere inside is pure Montreal: effortlessly fashionable locals huddled over small wooden tables talking sports, politics, and art late into the night. Order an absinthe or one of the many local microbrews (we like Le Cheval Blanc on draft) and join the conversation.
