The airport’s jostling crowds make it easy to forget that Toronto’s landscapes were once completely inhabited by Inuit peoples, like the indigenous Nunavut. At this shop, run by the Nunavut Development Corporation, all proceeds from the products sold (which include hand-carved caribou antlers and figurines, books and CDs, and sturdy musk-ox leather bags) go toward supporting the tribe.
