Action Christine
Paris, 75006, France
Located on the Left Bank, a short walk from the Pont Neuf, the Action Christine theatre has long been a popular spot for cinephiles who enjoy seeing Tinseltown classics and quality US independents on the big screen. Inside a 17th-century, stone facade building, the theater houses two viewing rooms: one in the basement with seating for 155, and a ground-floor room with seating for 90. The cinema shows new prints of old movies, including many hard-to-find prints that cannot be found elsewhere. It devotes festivals to genres like film noir and features retrospectives of auteurs like Hitchcock, Godard, and Peckinpah.
